Palmer Home for Children FAQ

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is simply a form of fundraising for a specific project that involves as many people as possible contributing small amounts to reach a large goal. We like to think of it as our extended family coming together to make great things happen!

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes! Palmer Home for Children is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, and your gift is tax deductible.

How will my gift be used?

Donations will be used for the express purpose described in the project to which you have contributed.

How will I know when you reach your goal?

We will share periodic updates to keep you informed as we make progress towards our goal. Contributors to a project receive email notifications when updates to that project are added. You can also follow us on facebook, twitter, or instagram.

What happens if you exceed your goal for a project?

We have stretch goals that can be found in each project description that describe what extra funding would help us achieve. At Palmer Home, you can be certain that every penny we receive is used to Grow Hope for children in need.
